What if you were staring down the dark alley of inevitability? What if you knew time was running out? What if there were so many things unsaid? What if you knew what you're ambiguous to? The term "What if" seems to be the predominating theme these days. Everything we are, every conviction and heartbeat is marred with the general theme of "What if." The saddest part is that the time is running oh so short. Whether we want it to or not, life is about to cange dramatically. We must act with urgency and tr to grab as many things as possible to hold close to our hearts, beacuse simutaneously many doors will shut, never to be seen to again. The future will be what we make of it today. Tomorrow is here and I couldn;t more excited and scared. Tick, tock, tick tock...

Easter is hearalded as a time of renewal. We tend to forget those little things. Today, I recall days gone by, when I would wake on Easter Sunday next to an Easter basket filled candy and I would be so excited. Then there would be the family barbeque and the Easter egg hunt. Today, as I now live nearly 1,000 miles away, there is no basket, no family, no Easter egg hunt, and worst of all, NO CANDY!!! Instead, I write this blog and after awhile of thinking, I get sad. I miss all those things. Now though, the idea of renewal must be embraced in all aspects of my life. But at the very least, I wish someone would bring me candy. Especially those Cadbury creme eggs! Mmmmmmmmmm...

Here are some wise words courtesy of "The Wonder Years" via my dear friend Dani...
"In your life you meet people. Some you never think about again. Some you wonder what happened to them. There are some that you wonder if they ever think about you. And then there are some you wish you never had to think about again...but you do."

Business has prevented us from blogging. Our sports staff at KJHK swept the KAB's. That might be the first time ever. I'm so proud of everyone, they deserve everything. Personally, I'm happy because I won 1st Place in Play-By-Play. It's amazing to do that in the senior year, when big things need to happen. Now, we'll see.
