Halloween is a day, especially nowadays where I really wish I was a kid again. Things were so simple then. I regret to inform, when I came home tonight, there was nobody there to take me trick or treating. Nor was there anyone to take a picture of me in a costume. Funny, I tended to complain about getting a silly picture taken and especially complained about putting a jacket on over my costume. Now, I would do anything to regain that innocenece. I am sorry everyday for the time I let slip away. I only hope when I close my eyes tonight that I can be magically transported 15 years. That way I can smile again and see some of the people that I've missed everyday since they were taken away from me. I vow to never forget and each day will always be a tribute to them. Happy Halloween. Make sure you take a few minutes to step back and take it all in. It'll never come back.

Don't you love the feeling when someone walks in the room and you get butterflies in your tummy. It's electrifying. You could say it's like taking a shower with a toaster..........plugged in.

So, it didn't work. But, only because we became drunk journalists chasing a fire. BY time we got home it was way past nite-nite time. Anyhoo, it's worth pointing out that I hate the powers that be that decide that Adam Barman should start. Then, put in Luke, take him out, put in Hereford, have him get us to the 15, put in fucking Barman again and watch him piss down his leg with a fumble. They all collectively fucked up the game for a defense that deserved so much better. It really is too bad, b/c the fair-weather peopel here are already bitching about basketball season starting soon. I hope we kick the shit out of OU, then they will all come back on the bandwagon. That won't happen though, unless we actually get something that resebles an offense

So, let's try this....I am writing now and then I will try and write again later. You gotta love this time of the year. It's a time filled with such uncertainty and intrigue, yet, it seems as if we all collectively know nothing still. A few months from now, everything will seem as if it happened two years before. It's just how it goes. I just hope I can be happy now. Other than that, the news was goofy today, but I had fun. The people I am around on Thursdays make me happy.
